     This is the continued of Tonkatsu (pork cutlet) recipe after shared it in last post, I’d like to share another “Katsu†recipe to you. I really like the word (Katsu). Though there some different meaning in this Japanese word, but, either when you play a games, sitting in examination or sport tournaments, you will wish to Win, right? Ya, Katsu! Katsu! (å‹ã¤)meaning Win! Win! So, learn this Katsu-Don recipe and eat before you have you important events.    Â

Ingredients:
   4 pieces tonkatsu (sliced about 1 inch-wide)
   1 onion cut into slices
   200ml dashi soup stock
   3 tbsp soy sauce
   2 tbsp mirin
   1 tbsp sugar
   2 eggs
   Steamed Japanese rice
Preparation: (2 servings)
 Put dashi soup stock in a pan together with onion slices. Add in mirin, soy sauce, and sugar in the soup until halfed cooked. Add tonkatsu pieces in and simmer on low heat for a few minutes until onions are cooked. Add eggs, put lid on and turn the heat down to low. Turn off the heat. Serve rice in a large rice bowl, and then place the simmered tonkatsu on top of the rice.
