Chinese Sizzling Noodles

A busy day end, when I just wondering what to have for dinner, my daughter requested for noodles with some soups. So, we decided to have Yee Mee, a type of Cantonese instant dried noodles which looks like this…

It is a really simple and easy recipe for whole family and one of my favorite  choice when I am in busying mode. Sizzling noodle recipe with thicken cornflour soups .. Yummy!!

yee-meeIngredients: (4 serving)

Instant Yee Mee noodle
80g cabbage, cut into 1-2 inches long
1 medium carrot, cut into long strip shape
100g prawn, peeled
100g pork loin, sliced
50g sausages, cut into bite size
1 onion, diced
2 egg, beaten
Corn flour mixed with cold water
Sesame oil (to taste)
Ground pepper (to taste)

Sauce Mixture:
3 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp oyster sauce
1/2 tsp salt

Preparations:
In a sauce pan, heat 2 tbsp of oil stir fry onion, cabbage, carrot till cooked.
Pour in a cup of water and bring to boil. Add the noodles and cook until soften. Add prawn, sausages and pork slices. When it is almost cooked, add the mixture of cornflour, soy sauce mixture. Bring to boil until the soups become thicken then add egg. Transfer to a serving bowl and add drops of sesame oil and a pinch of pepper.

  3. Wow, the cooking way of this dish is great, I’ll try it later and I hope it tastes delicious. Just one suggestion: If you add some cooking pictures it will be easier to follow!
